Well you have officially lost this customer and I hope that this bank is investigated for their predatory practices because I never had these issues when this account was **********************, Crestar, and ************* of ********. They told me they put it in system and the computer said no, so you cant override a system I mean why would you have a system make this type of decision, where is the person who would look at this and go we can do this to appease a long time loyal customer. I explained to the 4 people I spoke with that I will accept two of the overdraft fees but could you waive the other two because to me it makes no sense since at time of purchase I had enough money and your system reflected that I did plus I added in additional money. ![]() My point because of being over $25 in my account I was charged $144.00 in overdraft fees, does that make any sense. In context I added additional money to cover the charges but a service that I thought I cancelled ended up charging me. I made two small amount purchases ($25 and $6) based on the money the mobile app reflected and after everything was said and posted my account went overdraft by $25 dollars. I have had my account for over 28 years and have decided to close it due to this last incident being the final straw. Ive waited nearly 2.5 years to get this all fixed. I would like to fix this as soon as possible. Every time I have an issue it just reminds me that my mother is dead and all of this seems to be unfixable. Im highly upset because I cant fix the UNLIVABLE house. I cant do anything and they cant tell me anything. Today (August 4, 2023)I called and it still hasnt been completed. I sent that in via email and checked that everything was in and was told that it would be completed around July 13th, 2023. They contacted me about 2 weeks later saying they needed my drivers license. ![]() Luckily I found the paperwork from before and got it emailed in. They told me I could go online to get the forms but they arent listed. I explained the situation and was told that they could mail the documents to the house but there is no mail running to that house from the Tornado damage. I called the bank to see how to proceed with the insurance claim and ask if I could move a couple of payments to the back of the loan and I was told that I didnt have access to the account. Everything was fine, I thought, until the March 24th 2023 Tornado that hit the house and has extensive damage. She passed away in Sept 2020 and once I had the deed changed over into my name, I sent all the paperwork in to Truist via fax. I have been trying to get my paperwork fixed from my mothers house.
